CheeseCake
a few weeks a go now wags/nineline said about adding the TGP that the A10 has as a stopgap until the new FLIR render is down how is this coming along?
noisy_lightning
He also said in the comments on Facebook that is was far from a copy and paste job with the code and that whilst it was quicker than ATFLIR it was still a reasonable task. No time frame was mentioned I don't believe. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk
kaoqumba
Not only that. According to the survey, F/A18 uses TGP at Naval airports and ATFLIR only on carriers. Adding TGP makes bumblebees more authentic. At the same time, adding the existing TGP will greatly shorten the waiting time for the arrival of the aiming pod. AvgWhiteGuy
At least the TGP from land base will give us another opportunity to dial in our skill set and make it more enjoyable. I'm not a fighter guy due to eye problems (can't find & engage) but I could at least enjoy the ground attack aspects. Does TGP mean I can't load up/launch from carrier and then just return to airfield....no big deal right now.
