davidp57 Posted February 5, 2019 Posted February 5, 2019 Hi there, On the latest release version (but it already happened before) we noticed that, when taking off from the Tarawa, whenever we land on ground (on a runway, on a farp, wherever) the plane starts to bounce off the ground to a 500-1000 ft altitude and then go down to the same altitude underground, repeating this process until it is destroyed eventually. It usually starts when slow enough to turn, but sometimes it waits till we're fully stopped. We made some tests : - start from Tarawa (cold) → bounce on runway (Kutaisi) - start from Tarawa (cold) → no bounce on Tarawa - start from runway (Tbilissi) → no bounce on Tarawa → no bounce on runway (Kutaisi) Could you please add this to the bug list ? Thanks ! PS : love this bird ! Zip - VEAF :pilotfly: If you want to learn, talk and fly with french-speaking friends, the Virtual European Air Force is here for you ! Nealius Posted February 6, 2019 Posted February 6, 2019 I just flew a mission in PG, Tarawa cold start, bombed some baddies, then diverted to Al Minhad because I didn't have fuel to get back to the Tarawa. I didn't experience any bouncing or explosions.
davidp57 Posted February 6, 2019 Author Posted February 6, 2019 I ain't got no tracks but I'll record one and report here. davidp57 Posted February 13, 2019 Author Posted February 13, 2019 Well, I still haven't found the time to record a proper track but I'll do it when I can. In the meantime, does the lack of interest in this thread mean that we're the only ones with this bug ? Coxy_99 Posted February 13, 2019 Posted February 13, 2019 Its a known bug SU-33 and F-18 does the same. Unless its fixed in new open beta patch.
mvsgas Posted February 13, 2019 Posted February 13, 2019 Well, I still haven't found the time to record a proper track but I'll do it when I can. In the meantime, does the lack of interest in this thread mean that we're the only ones with this bug ? A track would be the best so we can duplicate. I have not seen this behavior. Hot start from LHA, vertical take off with vertical landing on Gaduata using Open Beta 2.5.4.27314, Caucasus map. No bouncing Cold start from LHA, short take off and rolling landing on Sukhumi To whom it may concern, I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that. Thank you for you patience. Many people don't want the truth, they want constant reassurance that whatever misconception/fallacies they believe in are true..
davidp57 Posted February 13, 2019 Author Posted February 13, 2019 This is in multiplayer ; I'll record a track as soon as able. @Coxy : Are you sure it's also happenning on the -18 ?
