Self-shadowing issue

Many solid geometries (parts of the cockpit's structure) are casting shadows that appear glitched: specifically, shadows are only cast by the object's border, as if it wasn't solid. Easily observable on the front windshield's frame and on both sides of the cockpit walls.

I hope the Mig 21 gets a graphic update.

 

I noticed some strange smearing artifacts from wingmen, at a distance. The graphic model must be quite old by now.

 

I have been with DCS since the early days and would love to see the Mig 21and Black Shark brought up to the latest standards as seen in the Hornet and Mirage.
