Sacarino111 Posted March 8, 2019 Posted March 8, 2019 Hi everyboby. Last couple of days I'm having problems with INS alignement at cold start up in runway: I do the same procedure as always, wich did work fine, by the way, but I don't have any possibilituy to introduce the AC location as there is no buttons to push to set up the N and East position, nor the mag var. Is there any known issue on this? Did the procedure changed and I lost the track? It happens on SP as well as on MP, so I can't star the plane correctly, and the Tarawa start up is always delayed, so no joy! If any one know a trick oar have any informations please let me know. Cheers Sacarino111
Sacarino111 Posted March 9, 2019 Author Posted March 9, 2019 Hi. I found what appened. The procedure has changed,I think, at least for me, as I always turned the INS knob BEFORE I started the engine, and then selected DATA and then A/C and then itroduced the data. Thanks to Scorpion, from VSAAF, I now know that first you introduce the data and then, after that, turn the knob to the INS GRD position. So, recaping: a Start the engine normally, but let the INS knob to OFF! b Start the desired MFCD. c Select EHSDI d Push DATA PB e Select A/C (left most button in the lower row of buttons) f Introduce the coordinates and MVar as before g NOW turn the knob to the GRD position. You will see the countdown reducing and the system geting online as normal. Can't tell when that changed, but I m sure that a few weeks ago I was doing it different and worked. Any how, fixed one. Saludos. Sacarino111

Fisu_MAD Posted March 22, 2019 Posted March 22, 2019 To align the plane. If you have configured not aligned in options, you just have to move the selector to the right fully with the plane started and then return to NAV position. Put the MD to see the magic. Neither count back or anything, in 2 seconds you have everything working;). Maybe someone will delete my post. It is frequent if you do not say cool things in these forums.
