Hey Mike Busutil!

Please, verify that your exterior lights master switch is set to on. It's marked with 5 here:

Because of the location, it's not clickable in the cockpit, but you can assign it from your controls settings. It's called "Exterior Lights Master Switch".

I hope this will solve it for you. If not, please let us know, and we will investigate it further to check what may be causing this issue for you.

They are designed that way to facilitate signaling on the ship at night. On the cat, lights on means ready to launch, like a salute in the daytime. When taxiing on deck, lights on means "I HAVE A FREAKING BRAKE FAILURE!!!", signaling the deck crew to throw chocks and Junior Ship's Company Officers under the wheels in an attempt to stop the aircraft...

The ext lights master switch is invisible for me in VR, no matter what angle I try to peek around the left throttle, therefore impossible to verify its setting.

I noticed that setting the POSITION switch to flash does not work. With weight on wheels the position lights are steady as they should but in the air they still are steady. Of course I might be missing something.

2. POSITION switch

Switch controlling whether the wing or supplementary tail and position lights lights up steadily or flashes. With weight on wheels the supplementary lights are always steady.
