This module is the closet thing we've ever had to the F-15E Strike Eagle. The DCS technology of the Tomcat is proof that it's well within reason that a DCS F-15E Strike Eagle is very doable...The C model goes without saying!

MS Win7 Pro x64, Intel i7-6700K 4.0Ghz, Corsair RAM 16Gb,EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 FTW GAMING ACX 3.0, w/ Adjustable RGB LED Graphics Card 08G-P4-6286-KR, Creative Labs SB X-FI Titanium Fatal1ty Champ PCIe Sound Card, Corsair Neutron XTI 1TB SSD, TM Warthog Throttle & Stick, TM TPR Pedels, Oculus Rift VR Headset CV1, Klipsch Promedia 4.1 Speakers...

Its true, is similar in many respects, although really far in others like system complexity (AG radar, SAR, TFR...). I only hope a module like the F15E was done by a 3rd party like Heatblur, seeing what they are capable of, pity in principle this is for other 3rd party...

Strike Eagle is in development right now by Razbam. And since its one of Wags favorite aircraft I am confident that it will match the standards we got used to.

What do you mean by that?

i5-2400 | 16GB Corsair XMS3 | MSI GTX 970 4GB | 500GB Samsung 850 Evo | TrackIR 5 | TM Warthog | Saitek Rudder Pedals | Windows 10 64 bit

I mean, yea, the only things stopping a strike eagle being made right now are Development timelines, and licensing. I believe it is on the big All DCS "road map" but you know, it takes 4 years just to get to Early access and is a moving target to hit the random updates and changes to the game engine. All the while being put together by a small team of people with day jobs.

The Stadnards we got used by Razbam, ED or Heatblur?

Three, quite, different things.

I think that's very true.

While I really don't like Jester (it's programatically too limited, and the dialog just irritates me), the rest of the module is out-of-this-world good.

I am actually a bit sad that HB didn't get to call dibs on the Strike Eagle.

The Eagle will be as good if not better that the F14 :) - I am loving the F14 though :) great job

They'll have to do some sort of AI though.

Yes, they will, and stating up front that they don't want to try to match their competitors is a bit of a letdown. I hope they at least learn from the process HB used here for their future modules, as they can certainly do good work, they just need more interaction and, for lack of a better word, project oversight. Having a long alpha period with invited testers will provide that: Real feedback, and a quality check from the community before a wide release.

They said on discord it will have no back seat AI because the pilot can handle everything from the front seat. They have said it will be open to human wso's though.

I'm sure from a looks perspective it might be since your art team is great. From a detailed systems modeling standpoint I very much doubt it based on past/current work.

New hotness: I7 9700k 4.8ghz, 32gb ddr4, 2080ti, :joystick: TM Warthog. TrackIR, HP Reverb (formermly CV1)

Old-N-busted: i7 4720HQ ~3.5GHZ, +32GB DDR3 + Nvidia GTX980m (4GB VRAM) :joystick: TM Warthog. TrackIR, Rift CV1 (yes really).

Well said Sir:megalol: (Dunno if the smiley is correct - I wish the M2000C and upcoming F15 & Mig23 from Razbam will get proper FM and Systems, since those are planes I like / want to buy and fly...)

We will see. I really hoped for the Mig19, but seeing the bad state of the FM and systems even when razbam promised a further finished state to be released (in EA) than what came in the end really brings my hopes down. I still wait for the MLO for my beloved M2000C and I hope the best for the F15 and Mig23 (as stated above I really look forward to them since I want to use them badly) - But seeing what Razbam has delivered and does with the current modules (lack of updates) does not stand yet for quality. The F14 atleast released in a very good state with a great FM, systems and Jester AI with only minor bugs so far...
