OnlyforDCS Posted March 23, 2019 Share Posted March 23, 2019 I think the problem is that most crashes don't generate .log files. In my case the crashes cause my system to "hang", I then have to CTRL-ALT-DELETE and shut down the "Not Responding" DCS World manually. This doesn't generate any .log files unfortunately :( Current specs: Windows 10 Home 64bit, i5-9600K @ 3.7 Ghz, 32GB DDR4 RAM, 1TB Samsung EVO 860 M.2 SSD, GAINWARD RTX2060 6GB, Oculus Rift S, MS FFB2 Sidewinder + Warthog Throttle Quadrant, Saitek Pro rudder pedals. Unfortunately, most of the problems I have with DCS are freezes when exiting missions, so no crash report tool. No matter which plane I choose or server, I had almost 8 or 9 CDT in the last hours. This never happened to me before. Doesn't make me better than you . Just saying. There's been other problems where it hasn't. Jesus thank god I got out programming. Like picking fly shite out of pepper. My friends and I have a group called 08th, each one of us had the same issue today, just in the last few hours for me. I was talking with a guy in discord from an EEUU group and they had the same issue. I never experience before this kind of problem and I have a pretty decent gaming rig. But I would like to know if updating DCS Open Beta with the updater is better in terms of performance and bug free (if its a rather big update) or simply do a clean install a better solution? I don't mind paying the $60-$80 on Modules but I do expect with there is CTDs in nearly every patch since 2.5 was released. Seems your more than willing to take my money but when I make a post it might be weeks before I even see a reply. tbh its starting to get a little tiring ..
