recondo
Hi, I think my original post was to vague. Sorry. So I'll try a new more accurate title. Thank you LeCuvier For your time and response on my original thread. I previously had a Thrustmaster Warthog throttle, stick, and Saitek rudder pedals. I had no problem programming buttons, switches, etc. No pop ups. I found the resistance of the Thrustmaster stick base to be way to strong. So after doing some research I placed the Thrustmaster Warthog stick on my Virpil WarBRD base and love it. I first tried it out on IL-2 and had no problems assigning key commands. I've just tried it in IL-2 Cliffs of Dover and had major issues there. So IL-2 Sturmovik is the only one of the 3 I fly which has no issues. Then I went to DCS and started assigning commands. This is when I started getting the pop ups, and when I would select "yes" to save changes it would not save the changes I made. I've attached screen shots of the pop up in 2 separate occasions. I have tried deleting input files, and also tried it in version 1.5 with the same results. Since the stick had worked fine on the Warthog base I'm assuming it's an issue with the Virpil base. I hope this is more specific for all who have viewed, and appreciate any help. Regards, Recondo

sobe
recondo I have the WH grip and WarBRD base and have no issues with DCS. I don't understand what you are saving in the pictures? Each individual controller? BTW, I changed the id of the base so the base and grip now are reported as a WH controller and target can be used or someone else's WH profile can be used. If you want to discuss this further let me know. Bob_Bushman
The profile saving in DCS is just for backing up, although it's a lot simpler to just copy the input folder under save games than using it. You save actual button maps as you hit ok and leaves the control section. i7 8700k @ 4.7, 32GB 2900Mhz, 1080ti, CV1 Virpil MT-50\Delta, MFG Crosswind, Warthog Throttle, Virptil Mongoost-50 throttle.
