Grifter
Has anyone had trouble using Grimes' MOD to edit multiplayer missions? I want to use it to modify coalitions in a mission set I already created. This is the MOD I'm referring to: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=168720 Any adverse effects like mission crashing, broken, or players can't join without a copy of the mod or something? Anyone use it fix multiplayer missions without incident? Thanks in advance for any info. Much appreciated. Grifter.

Rudel_chw
.., or players can't join without a copy of the mod or something? The mod is just for the editor of the mission, and then it only needs to be active when you do the coalition changes, if you use a mod manager you can disable it afterwards if you want. After you change the coalitions, dont start editing the mission right away ..save the mission first, close it and then open it again. HiJack
No concern at all. And if you use OvGME you can activate and deactivate the mod as you need it. Works perfectly.

Is this mod manager a separate mod or is in the mission editor itself and o can find out more about the mod manager in the DCS manual? Thanks. dannyq8
OVGME is a separate MOD but is a must for any type of modding, it will save you hours of stress. The download link is here: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3874587&postcount=727 Sadly it is no longer supported by its creator, but his thread is here: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=171956 There is an older MOD manager that has been around for many years, the forerunner of OVGME, here: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=98607 Wise men speak because they have something to say; Fools because they have to say something.
