REDEYE_CVW-66
When lining up for takeoff behind a jet, the heatblur from a jet in front will distort the HUD, as if the heatwaves were in fract in front of it. As far as I know it considers all aircraft.
Moafuleum
This is a very old bug already and known for a very long time. In fact it was inherited from the 1.5.xxx days. I reported it back in these days but was told to wait for 2.5 as it is not worth fixing it because the release of 2.5 was imminent. Frankly, it is still not fixed yet.. The bug is annoying especially while dogfighting when the enemy is close and in front of you since, as a consequence, also the gunsight on the HUD is blurred
Sharkku
What's the status on this bug? It was reported back in 2016 it seems... That was 6 years ago.
Peter5on
I think its here since Lock On, and funny i was talking about this bug yesterday with a friend who works on Unreal 5, and he told me that on U5 its just rendering order, easy and quick fix. But DCS engine is... you know... probably a spaghetti of code. Not only that but clods shimmering ect. I told him also how long this bug is here and he didn't said anything good about developers. S
Just going to bump this thread as this is still an issue. It's rather annoying when you're taxiing and the HUD keeps randomly blurring and unblurring while following another jet.
