No Block 50 was ever been used as Aggressor.

Most of them are 30/32.

That doesnt mean any Aggressor skin cant be made.

Gotcha, so likely no aggressor campaign from the likes of Maple Flag but at least someone could mod the existing campaign after the Viper is available. Hopefully ED will do some aggressor skins though. Super stoked for this to drop.

F16 Dutch skins?

I would love to see some Dutch F16 skins. As far as I know, there aren't a lot of Dutch skins in DCS.

Id love to see this skin in DCS!

Why is there a picture of the "LOSER" of the Lightweight Fighter Program posted here with our beloved Viper?

(Nice paint scheme though!)

Being a purist, I want all the Block 50s first.

I agree...However, I've been looking into the CCIP Program in general and found this:

CCIP/CUPID

You hear a lot about CCIP, which stands for Common Configuration Implementation Program.

CCIP was three (four) phases, Phase I & II were Block 50/52, Phase III was Block 40/42.

Phase IA started in August 2001 (MMC, CMFDS) - most kits went on hold till the rest of the CIP Cards came in from the a certain vendor

Phase IB started in September 2002 (AIFF, SniperXR)

Phase II started in July 2003 (LINK-16, JHMCS, EHSI)

Phase III started in 2005

The first Edwards CCIP jets were also modded in 00- 01, though MMC had been in Flight test for over a year at that time.

This is what allows the Block 50/52s to drop all the cool ordnance nowadays and is an avionics and software program to upgrade the Block 40/42 – 50/52 fleet. On Block 50/52s, the external difference are the AN/APX-113 antennas…"bird slicers" in front of the canopy and the JHMCS (Joint Helmet Mounted Cuing Sensor) on the inside L side of the canopy. All Block 50/52s are now CCIP, and most of the Block 40/42s are, though the Block 40 series doesn't have the IFF blades in front of the canopy, just the JHMCS being the only clue the jet is CCIP. In short order it can just be assumed that a Block 40/42 is CCIP equipped, though externally it’s tough to tell.

So externally the external differences between a Block 50 and 52 CCIP jet are related to the engine installed. GE equipped aircraft have a larger air intake inlet (referred to as the "modular common air intake duct") Pratt & Whitney-equipped aircraft all have the smaller air intake inlet (Referred to as the "normal shock inlet" ) The engine exhausts are also different. (GE vs Pratt)

Block 40/42s Exhibit the same engine related differences but lack Bird Slicer IFF antennas and have strengthening plates on the upper Fuselage.

In short it seems the paint shop folks can have a field day because there are a LOT of units flying CCIP upgraded birds.

Actually, they’re commonly referred to as “Big Mouth (GE), and Small Mouth (P&W).
