Hammerhead
Hi, I have a problem with graphics in Nevada only, not in Caucasus and Persian Gulf. See screenshots. My specs are in my signature. "Repair DCS World Open Beta" did not solve the issue. Bearskin
I remember getting screens like this in battlefield 2 when I overclocked my GFX card (HD4870) too much. I don't own the Persian Gulf map, but the Nevada map for me is harder on my GTX 970 than Caucasus. My 970 OC is +186 core and +454 Memory Edited May 19, 2019 by Bearskin Z790, 13700K, RTX4080, 32 gig RAM, Warthog, WarBRD base , Virpil Pedals, Pico
Tailhook
Looks like driver or overclock related. Either way, try running a repair/cleanup and remove any terrain mods. Hammerhead
Strange because: - no overclock - no mods - repair done I even tried a different airplane, different in-game graphics settings, and a new clean mission with nothing else except my airplane. Still no joy. Nevada used to work in the past (even though it's more intensive than Caucasus as Bearskin also pointed out) so I guess it must be since one of the updates. pimp
Try a repair. EDIT: My badd. I need to learn to read everything first. msalama
Try a repair. Said he'd tried already, no joy. Graphics card going perhaps? The DCS Mi-8MTV2. The best aviational BBW experience you could ever dream of.
Hammerhead
Graphics card going perhaps? Then I would have issues with other terrains or games as well, right? I did try to revert to an older nvidia driver but this didn't solve it My rig:My YouTube Channel: https://goo.gl/mWdlQk PC Specs: Intel i7-3770k 3.5GHz | GeForce RTX 2060Super 8GB | Iiyama Black Hawk G-Master 75Hz dual monitors |16 GB RAM | ASUS Z77 Sabertooth mobo | Saitek PRO Combat Rudder Pedals | TM HOTAS Cougar | TrackIR5 | Win10x64
draconus
Have you tried new clean user profile? Just rename your \saved games\dcs\ to \dcs_backup\ and run DCS. DD_Fenrir
"fxo" and "metashaders" folders deleted from your "Saved Games/DCS OpenBeta" folder?
Hammerhead
Have you tried new clean user profile? Just rename your \saved games\dcs\ to \dcs_backup\ and run DCS. Then I cannot seem to login for some reason and terrains are disabled so I can't test. Tried DD_Fenrir's solution by deleting fxo and metashader folders but it doesn't help, the result is the same My rig:My YouTube Channel: https://goo.gl/mWdlQk PC Specs: Intel i7-3770k 3.5GHz | GeForce RTX 2060Super 8GB | Iiyama Black Hawk G-Master 75Hz dual monitors |16 GB RAM | ASUS Z77 Sabertooth mobo | Saitek PRO Combat Rudder Pedals | TM HOTAS Cougar | TrackIR5 | Win10x64
draconus
Do a clean too. It's not good that you cannot login - forgot the password? Try other way: move everything from the \saved games\dcs\ just leave the \config\authdata (can't remember full name) file and options.lua (no subfolders). You should run DCS with the saved login data and check again, but with predefined settings like Low or High. I was using the eagle forum password instead of digitalcombatsimulator password. My bad. Haven't logged in for more than a year and in my browser I use a password manager. Anyway, concerning the clean method: I only left authdata.bin and options.lua and deleted all the rest after backing up. (I still had to login but succeeded this time) But the graphics issue still persists. Note: It's only Nevada in OpenBeta version 2.5.4.30386 that seems to be causing graphics issues and not the stable DCS World install version 2.5.4.27340. But now I am prompted to install the new version 30386 into the stable one and I fear this will mess it up too. By clean I meant: DCS_updater.exe cleanup https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/support/faq/709/ Now, since the clean profile and low graphic settings still gives you errors in the beta only there is a good chance the clean will fix it. While keeping both versions make sure which one do you clean, repair and make changes in the right profile (saved games folder). As I and many others have no such a problem in the latest beta it may be not the version problem (just corrupted files) or it may be the rare case where it gives errors only for your particular system. If you happen to update release version and it works you could copy the entire nevada folder from release into the beta since they should be the same versions atm: https://updates.digitalcombatsimulator.com/ Edited May 24, 2019 by draconus Win10 i7-10700KF 32GB RTX3060 Rift S T16000M TWCS TFRP FC3 F-14A/B F-15E CA SC NTTR PG Syria

If you happen to update release version and it works you could copy the entire nevada folder from release into the beta since they should be the same versions atm: https://updates.digitalcombatsimulator.com/ I used your first link to download the cleanup and repair batch files but these did not solve it. Then I updated the stable/release version and miraculously enough Nevada is still ok. So then I copied the \DCS World\Mods\terrains\Nevada folder contents into the OpenBeta version... and now it works!:pilotfly: Thanks a million for your help. I have no idea how this got messed up - esp. how a cleanup and repair misses this  - but now it works!
