airwolfmutley
Hi! I will not share an issue, but a solution, just in case someone try to find answer directly. I'm using DCS 2.54 in Windows 10 64. I was having stutters when I´m flying close to buildings or airway, especially if I move my head. My rig: 1920X1080 resolution, I7 7700k (non OC), Mini Galax GTX 1070 (non OC), 32 Gb Ram (2X16, running at 2133Mhz, limited by the motherboard), 1 Tb HD, 40" Full HD samsung TV as monitor, alternative Track IR equipment with Opentrack (PS3 Eye camera). I change point tracker settings -> model position -> calibration. Instead of do the calibration and work with the numbers give it by it, I just leave it all "0 mm" (x, y and z). In may case, solved totally the sttutering problem at least in simple flights (without AI and not in maximum graphics configs, becouse of rig limits). I hope this helps someone. Cheers. Snowy55
Thanks Airwolfmutley, I have just starting using opentrack with a Trackhat CLip Pro today so will see if this is an issue for me. Haven't noticed it occurring as yet. I must say the opentrack/Trackhat combo is nicer than my old TrackIR 4 was. Trackhat takes more setting up but is much smoother and for me has better adjustment options and range of movement. I'm still playing with the settings to see what works best but so far I'm pleased. Goa
there are many threads on the subject, in order to have a smooth head movement when paning around, you must limit fps to 60 by using msi riva turner or nvidia inspector.
