LANTIRN Won't Point Track?

Trying to do a mission in the adapted Jane's F-15 campaign for the Tomcat that suggests using LGBs against moving Iranian gun boats. I'm quite new to RIO in the F-14, and I can't seem to get the LANTIRN to use Point mode (despite having made sure it is properly bound to my inputs multiple times). Area works, but obviously that's not terribly useful against a moving target.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

PS: How do you use the LANTIRN's secondary and tertiary S4 hat functions?

Point mode requires white hot to be selected IIRC.

Try with clear weather and especially make sure that fog/dust is disabled in the mission editor. I mean completly disabled, not just set to 0.

I thought they'd fixed that?

They wanted to adjust that, but I'm not aware that this has already happened.

Too bad we can't disable the fog in the morn. I love the light dynamics, but at the same time I can't see anything because of the fog. But I think that doesn't prevent the pod from point tracking anyway, but nevertheless I had a hard time getting one when I tried last time. As the targets were stationary, this wasn't a big deal though.
