R-77 for Su-27

DCS versions, no.

Real versions, also no. Well, there are those upgraded 47 SM's and 22 SM3's IIRC, but R-77 was never introduced into RuAF operational service and I wouldn't expect RVV-AE (the later export variant) was.

There were some recent photos showing some R-77 on some airframes in Syria (like on the Su-35S), but it's not really clear which variant it was (i.e. R-77-1 or Syrian RVV-AE, most likely the former which would mean it did enter some kind of production).

I think this question/request is not the first.

I'm not 100% sure, can the Su-27 or Su-33 employ R-77? If they can, why our DCS-Birds can't use them?

Our Su-27 is the Su-27S, the first serial production of Su-27. And you need much newer to get the compatibility that R-77 requires.

We have J-11A with R-77

Yes we do! And, that's the puppy to fly if you want a Flanker with the R-77.

Everything else about the J-11A seems to be pretty much identical.

The cockpit has higher def textures it seems, navigation and formation lights added, slightly different hydraulic tube set up in LG bays. It also can carry double racks for bombs or rockets. Non yellowing cockpit glass also. Antenna changes and the Chinese flight suit and white gloves look sharp.
