Hello there !

Would it be possible, in the future, to allow the harrier to be refeuel/rearmed from anywhere like it was done with the Viggen, without using the awful default pyramidal farps or metal plates that hover 6ft of the ground?

Its possible now. Check out sunstags road farp mods.

Also one of training missions has it now too IIRC.

I think the "metal plates that hover 6ft of the ground" was referring to Sunstang's Marsden mats.

If there was some fix to those they would be such a huge asset to making one aspect of DCS so much more fun. Sometimes little things go a long way :music_whistling:

Look sunstang has a whole amazing road farp mod that is exactly what OP wants. It wont work in MP though unless on a private server where everyone has the same mod. And at a guess it wont pass ic for the popular online servers which mostly give only a second thought to FARPS anyway.
