Dude you ROCK!!! Thanks so much!!!

👍

My pleasure, hope you like it.

Let me know if it needs any tweaking.

I may change the spec file at some stage, it looks a bit shiny on the leeward side when it shold be dull shadow.

Can anyone help with a description.lua mod?

I'm trying to add a line to the description.lua for liveries.

What I want to do is dirty up the wheels & rims. I have the details1cockpitWheelsHardpoints.dds file and can edit it with photoshop.

But, I need the description.lua to point to the edited file in the liveries folder.

Is there a location or list where I can find what goes at the start of the lua line?

Example:

I need to replace the XXXXXXXX's below

    --Arrestor Hook
    {"Gear and metal", 0, "RAAF Bottom", false};
    {"Gear and metal", ROUGHNESS_METALLIC, "fus_bot_v472_RoughMet_ul", false};
    {"Photograph", 0, "RAAFPic", false};
    {"XXXXXXXX", 0, "details1cockpitWheelsHardpoints", false};

Thanks All.

HB

Hi, l find the A4 inestable in dive flight. Can't make acurate diving bombing. How do you adjust yours axis, especially roll? I tries some curves but none work well on stability. Thanks!

Which version of the A-4 are you using? 1.4 or 2.0? On the latter, remember to enable the AFCS yaw damper. On the 1.4 I just used trim, like this:

Thanks,, Rudel, I'm using 2.5.6 and last A4 versión. Always fliiying with AFCS on. Nobody have the same problem? Seen is very sensible in inputs...

Well, the roll is super fast, you can even get a G-blackout .. but the pitch is not much of a problem, but I do use the trim at 50%:

Hi guys,

I can't seem to find the AIM9 uncage mapping? Is it possible to uncage the seeker head in the A4?

Thanks,

Doc

No, it does not have an uncage switch, as per the real aircraft.

Ok, thanks!! I'm having a terrible time with those AIM9Ps. In a recent engagement, I damaged a Tomcat with guns. He is smoking and going home, low and slow. I get a tone, perfect 6 o'clock firing position, less than a mile away. The AIM9P goes sideways on its merry way... Figured it has something to do with me not uncaging the seakerhead. I'll if I can get a track or a video...

Yes, these older Sidewinders are hard to get a lock tone, I'm also not too sucesful with them either 🙂 as you can see here:

Change the Falkland mission come with MB-339A to A-4E-C with 3 Zuni and 2 gunpods. It is even more fun! Roll-to-crash a few times even though I trimmed the roll axis to 70% max.

Last I heard about this mod was that it was being tested with the EFM. Has that been added?

I's still in beta. The stable release uses SFM.

A few days ago I upgraded to the latest open beta, so I tried the F-14A for the first time - flew it against the A-4, which was kinda challenging with guns-only. So, this time I decided to change seats - hop in the A-4E (v.2.0) and take on an F-14A. Stimulating (especially with missiles)!

Here are some, but they are for the release version, not the Beta:
