New 7.1 version for OB (fix color problem) and 6.0 for stable can be downloaded in first post.

 

It seems that the first post is not updated yet. What do you refer about color problem in OB? where is the problem in 7.0?

Ooops, I updated the link and not the history. The 7.1 allows again to have different settings color for cockpit and outside.

sadly i downloaded it and installed it with ovGME and i made sure the files is installed probably , also made sure i used the 7.1 ver as i have the version (2.5.6.50793) also tried it with and without the VR shaders mod, but the shortcut keys wont work at all??

what i am doing wrong??

Can you check if ithe d3d11.dll, d3dx.ini and shaderfixes directory are in the same directory than dcs.exe ?

What are your graphics settings ?

included in the images is my graphics settings.

 

one thing to note is that the sharping filter works and made huge improvement to font and text inside the cockpit. but i want to use the copy features too.

It should work...Can you post a track ? You are on the last OB ?

Okay i will post a track once i got to it .. Is there something specific i need to do in the track that will help track the problem?, i was om 793 ob when testing but yesterday i updated to the latest but i will revert now just to record the track.

No, that's just for the context, to allow me to reproduce it. But maybe you can give me a scenario based on in game mission, that will do it also. For example instant action / Av8b / ready on the ramp.

What you may also do is trying instant action / su25T / free flight. Once in cockpit press the comm menu key, then LSHIFT F3, then com menu key => you should have the comm menu still displayed in red.

I checked with your settings, the mod is working...

okay something strange happened to me and it worked because of that, i reverted to the latest supported ob patch and also removed all mods, i found it that it worked (green text on the upper left appear when i LeftShift\F7, then i started installing mod by mod and all worked fine with it, when i installed the Vr Shader mod it stopped working... removing it made it work again.

 

so its working now , but i wish it would work with the VR shaders mod too.

 

amazing work really it made everything clear to read.

okay something strange happened to me and it worked because of that, i reverted to the latest supported ob patch and also removed all mods, i found it that it worked (green text on the upper left appear when i LeftShift\F7, then i started installing mod by mod and all worked fine with it, when i installed the Vr Shader mod it stopped working... removing it made it work again.

 

so its working now , but i wish it would work with the VR shaders mod too.

yes i know its not supported, but i said that also when i turn off the shader mode still not working thats what made it strange for me.

Sorry, but your previous post says it didn’t work when you installed the shaders mod, but then it did work when you removed it.

Good. So the mod is working as it is.

Supporting the shader mod is really a double of work, it should really give fps gain to make me do it again.

 

My last testing were showing very few gain, so I'm not motivated...I will do testing again.

I have been using this mod with the latest OB with no problems but when it comes to uninstalling the mod DCS will no longer start up and will crash.

 

 

No mods in JSGME and removed via the program, I've also tried using the BAT for uninstalling but no luck.

 

 

DCS will now only start with 3DmigotoDCS_VR_7.0 installed in JSGME.

Did you try dcs repair?

Often repair will remove all foreign mods.

The mod is not "invasive", it did not modify any of game files. If you remove/rename d3d11.dll from the game dir it will be desactivated. Your messages are refering to Oculus stuff, nothing related to 3dmigoto...

 

You should remove the mod, check that d3d11.dll or other files of the mod are no more in the same dir than dcs.exe and do a repair.

Is there a way to get this fixed? I use this mod for masking the labels, but having that on literally makes the tooltips illegible.

 

BTW would be great to have the overlay on both eyes... it's hard to read for me the way it is now.

Hello, the same shader is used to draw labels, menu and tooltips, I did not managed yet to know when a label or a tooltip is beeing drawn...So I do testing on pixel color for menu and tooltips, but they may vary for different modules. Maybe I should invert things and ask to set label colors if you are not using default ones.

I draw overlay on one eye, otherwise it won't be converged. I do not know how to set convegence with the information I get from the game.

That could do the trick with the default red and blue label colours for example. That'd be a quick change of some numbers for me as I use a custom dot label setup.

7.2 available in first post for the OB :compatibility with 2.5.6.52437, bug fixes. The mod is always IC compliant because it does not modify the game files, only the rendering, as ReShade.
