[REPORTED] Graphical artifacts when using NVG after recent OB

Recommended Posts

After updating to the most recent DCS 2.5.5.31917 OB, observed graphical artifacts when using NVG in a Hornet and flying in a dark night.

Has anyone experienced something similar?

Additional details: I just changed time of the default Persian Gulf FA-18C Aerial Refueling.miz to 3:00 am in ME. Deleted metashaders and fxo folders. No mods.

Video Card: NVidia GTX 1070

Driver version: 430.86

I can confirm this. Happened to all members of flight last night. All of us are in VR, not all rift tho.

I had a similar problem on pimax 5k+.

It was not with night vision, but in one of the quick play mission where the coast and a city look strange when i look out the left side of the canopy.

If i see it again i make a screenshot.

Can confirm. 2080ti and rift. It sometimes happens but not all the time.

New hotness: I7 9700k 4.8ghz, 32gb ddr4, 2080ti, :joystick: TM Warthog. TrackIR, HP Reverb (formermly CV1)

Old-N-busted: i7 4720HQ ~3.5GHZ, +32GB DDR3 + Nvidia GTX980m (4GB VRAM) :joystick: TM Warthog. TrackIR, Rift CV1 (yes really).

same for me with last update, and it's a nightmare to land on carier as soon as lights are on the Stennis...

Off topic, but you're not supposed to use the NVGs to land on the boat. Like NineLine said, the approach lights are not compatible and IRL, the force of the impact would send the goggles flying in the cockpit.
