Thats the Tail Number Generated by DCS Rogo, can only be fixed over the LUA that comes with the Skin, even when you delete the Number in the Editor (Tail Sign) still will patch 00 Number over the Skin..

Nice Skins Warlord, lookin for JG2 Skin without Swastika for SP Mission, would be nice some will do this...

had the same issue for a personal recent skin ( bort number decal )

now description.lua should be like that for decal and bort number

tweak to your dds file name

Mmmmmmm,That is Odd,I dont seem to have that problem in game.

Sometimes an update issue can change things. I am using version 2.5.5 33184 at the moment and working fine.

so go to C:\DCS World\Bazar\Liveries\FW-190A8\FW-190A8 (the default Blank skin)and open the description.lua and copy all EXCEPT the name at the bottom then go to my skins open the description.lua

and paste and replace to see if that works.

I am not very tech savvy but I will look into it more.

As there is no official Template/Skin pack yet I had to create my own Fully layered one from scratch which has layers for weathering,Lines & Rivets,National Markings,Warning Markings and paint etc.

I made this Template using Gimp 2.8.22 and saved it as a psd

so that it can be used in Photoshop as well as Gimp.

Some 2.8 xcf files wont open in later versions of Gimp and vise versa

so it might be worth having a copy of 2.8 as well as any newer version.

Please feel free to use as you wish but any agknowledgement would be very much appreciated.

Looking forward to seeing some great skins.

The only thing I couldnt do was remove the serial Number(550) and its box

from the vertical stabiliser as I dont know how to script the description.lua file to remove it.

So if anyone with the expertise could do this for Me and send me the ammended description.lua I would be very grateful.

Searching for Liveries of both Units equipped with 190s JG 26 & JG 2 Operating on Normandie Coast for Timeframe of 1944 is a freaking Nightmare...

So long my preferred Candidate JG2 was in early 1944 armed with A-6 and A-7 Versions dervived from loses that i found from the Squadron.

The first hint of A-8 is by June from the new Staffel Leader Kurt Buhlingen, but where the Photo is taken is pretty Unkown, more likley in Germany, and the camo Scheme is pretty different from the rest of the JG2.

So was more looking for comon JG2 Squadron Camo, found single black and White Picture from October 1944, from the looks of it the Camo didnt change to much since beginning 1944...

The Following 190 is Josef Wurmheller died in early 1944, RLM 74;75;76 and Yellow RLM 04.

Warlord if you have realy Time, would do a JG2 Squadron Skin even with these limited Resources would infinitely Grateful :thumbup:

Its hard to find many reference pix for this plane so I will match the skin as close as possible to the picture you supplied.

As you can appeciate these take a while to do so will get them to you ASAP.

To remove the bort numbers and panel from fuselage replace the FW190-A8 folder in coremods

with this one.its from an earlier version that doesnt have this problem although the 550 number

is still on the Vert Stabiliser (working on removing it) its is still better than the current setup.

Also replace the text in the description.lua with the one in READ ME FIRST BUT retain the file name in commas at bottom of page and make sure the skins are titled as follows.

I did two Fw-190A-8 liveries with Warloard64's template. Both liveries are based on Fw-190A-4/Trop and have dynamic BORT numbers enabled.

Fw 190A-4/Trop, W. Nr. 145614, EKdo 19, Benghazi, Libya, 1942 (RLM 79 sand brown over 78 sky blue)
Fw 190A-4/Trop, W. Nr. 145749, II/JG2, Sidi Ahmed, Tunisia, 1942 (RLM 79a sand yellow over 76 light blue)
