One of my online friends, who actually heard a 190A8 with the same engine as is historical, simply said that it should be more “rumbly” in DCS... Nealius Posted June 10, 2019 Posted June 10, 2019 I filmed about half a dozen flyby scenes and it does not sound like a lawn mower at all. It sounds like a real radial engine to me. Perhaps your speakers/headphone are just low quality?
River Posted June 10, 2019 Posted June 10, 2019 Sound is quite ok, the radial engine sound isn't much pronounced though. Yak 52 in DCS has the best engine sound. I use "hear like in helmet" so maybe that makes a difference too.

Abburo Posted June 11, 2019 Posted June 11, 2019 Very strange, as Anton have one of the best sounds if not the best sounds at the moment. Idle sounds along with flyby are very close to real thing. I am wondering which set of sounds are not ok in your perspective. Could also be something regarding your audio system/headset ? (lack of low frequencies or something like that) Is not same case for Dora and BF109 .... but Anton really nailed it.
