We are working to fix the bounching behavior on some airbases. Just few days and we are ready...

Sorry for the delay, but we are working on our aircraft during our freetime. This is not our job, we have families and so we are doing our best to release the patch as soon as possible.

Hey, no worries! Far be it from me to demand for anything! I know you all guys are working on this project out of passion and in your free time. I just wanted to know if there were any news about the update, since the communicated month of release of the patch was closing.

 

Take your time, do everything right, we'll wait; maybe just let us know what is going on, we're adults, we can take it (well.... most of us, at least!)

Apologies for the delay to everyone again.

 

However, nothing avoid us to share with you the change log of the next patch:

 

The following bugs have been fixed

1. Beacon doesn't work

2. Fuel gauge PYL indication doesn't show actual value

3. Rotation flood and console knobs is inverted

4. The parking brake deactivates while pushing toe brakes

5. Navigation lights on eliptical tip tanks are not visible

6. Gunsight reticle illumination too low

7. TrackIR doesn't work

8. Unused commands are still present in controls list

9. Canopy lock texture (red mark) missed

10. The aircraft doen't lost energy during high-G turns (G > 6.0)

11. Engine compressor texture is not mapped

12. Sync issue related to tip tanks position in multiplayer

13. Landing light animation in multiplayer doesn't work

14. Flight controls operation while using keyboard input is too slow

15. Kneeboard doesn't close (the pages doen't change yet, it will be fixed)

16. MB-339 sounds replace the sounds of other DCS Modules

 

The following features have been added:

1. Added zoom axis

2. Added force feedback feature

3. Engine shutdown deceleration improved

4. Idle RPM are now affected by Mach Number and Altitude

5. Improvements of external and internal texture/3D model

6. Added training missions with the voice of a real pilot of Frecce Tricolori

7. Added new instant actions

8. Added new mission

9. Added instruments and console lights

10. Added shutdown engine due to negative G flight (longer than 25 seconds)

11. Added new commands into controls list

12. Improved sunspension behavior

It would be great to develop the CD version (with full digital avionics, HUD, AA capabilities and refueling) but without radio it is not possible to do AA refueling.

A truckload of those. I was momentarily confused at the left & right engine controls ...

 

Are the brakes supposed to be inverted? I had to check Invert to make them brake when pushed.

Yes, with some rudder pedals you have to invert the axis. This is related how the pedals was built by manufacturer.

Sorry if this has been asked, I searched and didn't find anything: Has anyone found a way to make Simple radio work with the 339?

I tried EZ comms like we had to do with the A-4, still no luck.

No radios in free modules without the SDK yet, unfortunately!

Same with the A-4E-C Skyhawk module.

Excellent training missions! Makes me miss Italia so much and want to go back ASAP!!!

 

Quick questions though.

In the rockets and gun run. What speed?

Is the ammo supposed to be unlimited like in the A2A training?

In the A2A training, when do we know we are in range?

 

I did read the manual last time, so I can do it again, but the above are sort of suggestions for the next release of the training missions.

 

Damn good work, I'm loving this!

Is the ammo supposed to be unlimited like in the A2A training?

In the A2A training, when do we know we are in range?

 

1) I personally do it around 220-250 knots, we have no tables about it.

2) No but I think you have enough ammo for practice ( you have also a quick mission )

3) without radar altimeter you have to do it old style
