Possible stolen warthog

Here in Massachusetts there is a young kid selling a warthog. The sale is on the facebook marketplace. His asking price Is only $150. This is for the stick and throttle. He states it is from a relative and he does not use it. He also says it's in excellent condition , almost new. It was posted yesterday. I'm just putting this out there just in case. Because you never know. Because it seems to good to be true.

Though rare, i have seen people put up sticks and flight peripherals for cheap, in part because person selling isnt interested (husband died, son moved away got married), but also because sometimes there's not much flightsim enthusiast interest in the used market. In my region there's a guy who's had a TM TopGun stick for sale, but because he wants $50 for it it's been for sale for 9 months with no takers.

 

Same with cars, my buddy was looking for low cost beater just run about town a little, found an ok car listed for $2500, but the seller had had little interest, and suddenly a CV joint needed replacing, my bud offered $700 cash and the guy agreed to the sale! It won't impress the ladies at the club, but his bank account impresses since he only had to make one car payment!

 

Just saying it MIGHT be legit. But yea, it does sound like a suspiciously low price.

Is this a joke? Im sorry but wtf is this post about? You're accusing someone of theft with absolutely zero proof based on a hunch because the price is "too good to be true"? Im sry to say sir but this is completely inappropriate in this section. I would understand if you or someone you knew recently had a theft and were genuine in your efforts to track down a thief, but you sound more like a taddletale than a detective. Get some facts straight then make a post like that. Similar to what rick50 said i picked up a full cougar setup recently from an old lady whose husband divorced her she just wanted to get rid of it for almost nothing and i got super lucky. It happens. You're not helping anyone by making posts like this on unfounded hunches.

Easy chief, he was just putting it out there in case someone had theirs stolen recently, not a horrible thing. I wish I was in MA, I would grab it!
