Litening looks great. Ty ED

I wonder if there will be a memory function so you can save e.g. 2 or more target points for close buildings or vehicles, drop 2 GBUs with little separation and quickly switch from 1st to second saved point after 1st impact?

Or said in a different way, can you use the Targeting pod as a way to create Markpoints? so you can later switch between them?

I think the answer is yes, but I have no clue of how many can the hornet store, definetely this is my favourite functions when using the A10C, where you can mark a whole platoon.

Yes. Exactly what I meant. Thank you. Hope you are right.

Hoping it not only can store multiple points, but that we’ll be able to create them via the helmet-mounted sight. Look, Click, Kill!

The Hornet can create and store up to 9 Markpoints.

To be honest, I would value improvements to the NAV system, markpoints / offset points much more than any new weapons at this point.

Same. To be honest, with the TGP, I think we have enough A/G functionality for now. We can simulate most of the scenarios a Hornet would fly. After the TGP is fully completed, I'd also very much like to see the INS/GPS system fully implemented. It feels fake right now.

This very much!

I would have prefered to have the basic functionality, that is integral to the jet, in place first, before we get some fancy additionally features like a TGP.

Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit

DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!

Wags said, a few weeks ago, that they are working on the full implementation of the NAV system right now (that's also why the alignment etc. has been bugged a few times lately). I'm betting we will see that fleshed out after the Harpoon, e.g.: soon.

Only really big thing that's really missing now is TWS, IMHO. A/G radar is nice, but if you ask me they can flesh out that one in the end :D

Yes, I meant to write TWS as well but I forgot. Once we have these two plus AZ/EL, MIDS and some more JHMCS functions, the Hornet will feel much more complete. The AG Radar sounds cool and I will play around with it when we get it, but IRL it's not used for anything besides anti-ship missions, from what I've heard, so I can definitely wait.

Them working on things shouldn't break updates. They should work on it in an own branch until it is complete and then merge it in.

NOT work on it, and when a release comes up, fix it to the point where it can be used again, then continuing to work on it. That would be just ridiculous.

You hold up everyone if you work like that.

Every feature should be it's own branch in the version control software, so it doesn't get bugged when they release something unrelated. Say a targeting pod.

Personally I'd look forward to a2g radar.

you can find targets a lot more quickly, just check the radar returns with the tgp instead of slewing all over the place and looking for pixels. and you can pretty much find moving mud instantly with the "ground moving target" mode as well as do TASMO
