The_Bullet_Chef Posted August 9, 2019 Posted August 9, 2019 Hello all, Anybody else notice that when switching to F3 'Fly-By' view, there's about a 1 second delay before hearing the sound? *** I'm not talking about Supersonic Flight because it happens during normal subsonic flight *** The F-14 is the only module that's doing this.... My other aircraft don't have this sound delay... However when already in F2 'External View' then switching to F3 'Fly-By' view, there is no sound delay.... Weird.....
Cobra847 Posted August 9, 2019 Posted August 9, 2019 This is because of a workaround we had to implement to avoid DCS cutting out all sound due to excessive sound sources. We're investigating a fix. Nicholas Dackard Founder & Lead Artist Heatblur Simulations https://www.facebook.com/heatblur/

IronMike Posted August 10, 2019 Posted August 10, 2019 If you would like to record scenes in the meantime for example without delay, every subsequent fly by view does play the sound from the get go - if you like, it is a small "workaround". It resets everytime you change the view though. So it needs to be F3 in sequence, going F1 or F2etc will reset it.
