[BUG?] ALT needle stuck at 0

I've mentioned this before in another thread, and was told that it could be an issue with memory less that 12GB. However, I have 16GB.

I have 64Gb, and my PC was using 24 total while DCS was running according to task manager. I don't think it is a RAM issue, at least, not when I saw the issue.

I see this occasionally as well, and simply reloading the mission 'fixes' it. It is apparent as soon as the cockpit is displayed. As others have said, the drum works as expected, however the needle is stuck at 0. I've got an older CPU as mentioned above, so perhaps this will help.

Can I reproduce it 100%: No

If not 100%, how often out of 10: 5/10

How to reproduce/ description: Random after mission loading; evident as soon as cockpit loads. Reloading mission has always cleared it.

I experimentes the same issue in the Mission 2 of the Cage The Bear Campaign.

Interesting is that from the first moment, entering in the aircraft, if you see the needle not in 0, it works correctly.

I did a test. I started several times the Mission 2. Sometimea this failre is poping up, and sometimes is working good. Difficult for the troubleshooting

I just had this happen multiple times today. Joined GAW, jumped in a cold Tomcat on the CV. Bent altimeter. Restarted, rejoined, bent altimeter again. Switched to a cold Tomcat on shore. Bent altimeter. Restarted DCS, rejoined, bent altimeter a third time.

Went to PGAW, altimeter worked fine.
