Yellonet
Hello guys, Is there a [known] feature list for BS? If not we could make one right here. * New flyable - Ka-50 Black Shark helicopter including 6DOF enabled cockpit * (uncertain) Standard flight model (SFM) for all AI aircraft - no more weirdness from your wingman? * New highly detailed ground units, including various types of infantry! * Night vision goggles for the Ka-50 * New shot deviation ballistics for AAA guns * Shell ricochet for light cannons * New muzzle smoke effect for large caliber artillery * New highly detailed helicopter models * Advanced flight model (AFM) for the Vikhr missile (other missiles have updated 3D-models, but are still using standard flight models) * Datalink between up to four (4) Ka-50's * New AIM120C missile with new fixed characteristics instead of current 120C which will be renamed AIM120A * New mission editor with script support * New areas on the map, Georgia. Better terrain geometry. 1 i7-2600k@4GHz, 8GB, R9 280X 3GB, SSD, HOTAS WH, Pro Flight Combat Pedals, TIR5
192nd_Erdem
* Standard flight model (SFM) for all AI aircraft - no more weirdness from your wingman(:pilotfly:?) I wouldn't put my money on this. From what I've seen from videos, even Ka-50's and Mi-24's still copy your actions beyond realistic scale.

Force_Feedback
AFM for the Vikhr missile only, other missiles have updated models, but are still using standard flight models. A question, will we have some kind of battlefield datalink betweeen ka-50s? Creedence Clearwater Revival:worthy:
GGTharos
Yep...teams of 4, each using different frequencies. A question, will we have some kind of battlefield datalink betweeen ka-50s? Esac_mirmidon
And this data link includes target data transmissions form one ABRIS to other Ka-50 of the group? RvEYoda
... * New AIM120C missile with new fixed characteristics instead of current 120C which will be renamed AIM120A Is this confirmed? Force_Feedback
Thanks for confirm this GG ( target data link) O_o. But if this information is sended via ¿radio? Data-link why the need for LOS? Maybe some optical (laser) system? I know it was tested on the Su-27, maybe it has been adapted to some Ka-50 variety, but I'm not sure the ones in service have it. I'm pretty sure they don't actually, considering the prototypes are like 15 years ahead of the few that are in service today. GGTharos
The datalink is sent over radio, yes. Radio cannot penetrate hills or mountains ... you therefore need LOS to transmit. So you could actually send a Ka-50 in to do recon and record targets, then return and transmit them to you. And uh, yes, they do have a datalink FF but no like the Su-27. The Ka-50 DL lacks automation. I believe you may have seen it demonstrated in one video or another.
