I'm pleased to anounce another new model in the works by Yeniceri, Rocky and myself, the updated ALQ-131 for the new A-10.

Its time to do the Lambada the forbidden dance of kicking as and coming home for beers and nurses. What do you mean it has all ready been made haven't you been listing to people that say ED is the next best thing to a PB&J ? They have made a desk top sim for the ANG flying the A-10:thumbup:

.

Great work! Keep it up! Pitty that so detailed A-10 won't have AFM! It's not supersonic aircraft so it should be possible to make.

CNCs and Laser engravers are great but they can't do squat with out a precise set of plans.

I've seen pictures of it mounted farther forward on the wingtip pylon. Can Dice confirm?

I believe you are thinking of this

http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/ac/equip/an-alq-199.htm

It is rarley used on the a-10 to my knowledge, compared to the 131. I also know that it is not in lockon, so that may be where you are confused. The 199 is a much more elongated, but was not what was modeled here.

That is what they were shooting for.

We've thought about making a model of the ALQ-184, but decided for the time being that there wasn't much point...
