Man, this mission is great. Hey, I'm trying to setup a BAI mission but the mission-task sets up ok but the flash task briefing window covers the radio menu making it hard to get rid of with the mission control menu. In the screenshots, it looks like the flash briefing moves down out of the way of the radio menu but this is not happening for me. Do I not have something setup correctly? Bug? Thanks. Having tons of fun with the mission though. It's great!

This should help you on getting rid of flash details.

Yes, been using that. F10 root menu, F5, F1 then F5 again should do it. The last mission I flew, it didn't work for some reason. But it looks like in those screen shots, like the flash briefing moves lower on the screen out of the way when the radio menu comes up. Is that what's supposed to happen? Be nice if so. Anyway, thanks pal.

Are you on 2.5.6?

Is their a way to turn off the mission messages on the right side of the screen where their is not so many that come up?

Anybody found a solution yet to this? Seems like maybe it's a 2.5.6 thing. It's unplayable for certain clients after you have joined one task. The current result is you get flash reports for the assigned tasks of other flights + any task you've been assigned to. Even if you've aborted the task you will still get the flash reports. Stopping the flash reports does not work. You will end up unable to see half of your cockpit because of so many messages.

Client ID is persistent so leaving the server or going to spectator and coming back does not resolve it, only a server restart.

The only workaround is to never join a task.

Could we get an option to control what types of SAMs are spawned? High-lethality systems like the SA-10 and SA-11 make solo play unreasonably difficult.

And two more requests:

1. Option to disable messages such as "player entered cockpit," "player took off from..." etc.

2. Improvements to performance. The VR framerates are terrible (26fps over the ocean) compared to Through the Inferno and other missions with the same number or more units. I don't understand why this mission in particular is such a performance hog.

Thank you sir. Having to modify the mission in the ME wasn't initially clear.

EDIT: I'm still a bit lost. For the NTTR version, nothing is as it appears in what you linked. I'm still missing something.

EDIT 2: Disregard, I'm an idiot.

Started playing this mission the other day and absolutely love it! Have a few questions though.

How do I call in SEAD or CAP support? Those functions in the F10 menus don't seem to do anything.

If I spawn or call a CAS, SEAD or Escort flight, where can I listen to other flights in my "package?" Suppose I want to hear a SEAD flight I spawned through Zeus engage SAMs so I know the SEAD window is open, or I want to hear a CAS call that they are running in, how can I do that?

About everything turned OFF by default, i leave like that cuz i dont like to force you guys to play the mission my way, is up to you to activate or deactivate things to fly the mission type you like most

When assigned a mission, does it not automatically generate a flight plan to the target area? Playing the mission in an FC3 aircraft and the pregenerated waypoints take me nowhere near the target area.

What would be great are moving ground targets and some CAS-missions. Do you think you can intetrate them too?

Yeah, i can, but i don't want to integrate 'em, moving GROUND groups / units eat a lot of resources in the mission runtime, they are FPS killers... sry buddy, for moving targets a way more lighter mission or a CAS focused mission needs to be created :(

No, it doesn't. pre-generated WPT for FC3 planes doesn't help at all in the tasks... u can use the menu and ask HQ to mark the target location on your map. then... navigate

Sorry for the stupid question, but how do I join a task? The command center option does not appear to me at all. I even tried entering frequencies of the airports and nothing. I have enabled everything in the mission editor and joined spectators first. Is this still relevant or it is not needed anymore? or am I missing something? I am on Open Beta
