BlaizzMC
Hi, Since the last update I noticed that the radar is now stabilized in elevation. Meaning that if you are scanning on the horizon and pull up, the radar will stay on the horizon. That's a great feature but it can also be useful to disable it. Is it possible ? (I'd like the radar to follow my nose elevation) Anyway good job Razbam ! Keep up  Cheers. Nabla Corporation
Fri13
You mean that if you scan horizon at 3000 ft with 1 bar, and then pull up raising to 15'000 ft that radar keeps scanning horizon at 3000 ft, so negative attitude related to your current altitude? i7-8700k, 32GB 2666Mhz DDR4, 2x 2080S SLI 8GB, Oculus Rift S. i7-8700k, 16GB 2666Mhz DDR4, 1080Ti 11GB, 27" 4K, 65" HDR 4K. Not quite. What I mean is that if your radar is 30° above horizon, you pull up then it will still be 30° above horizon (left on pic) I'd like to know if there's a way to have the radar behave as on the right. Ramsay
I'd like to know if there's a way to have the radar behave as on the right. That would be the Radar Special modes for Boresight, Vertical or Horizontal dogfight scans that are relative the the nose of the aircraft. i9 9900K @4.7GHz, 64GB DDR4, RTX4070 12GB, 1+2TB NVMe, 6+4TB HD, 4+1TB SSD, Winwing Orion 2 F-15EX Throttle + F-16EX Stick, TPR Pedals, TIR5, Win 10 Pro x64, 1920X1080

Yes but it those modes it automatically locks the target.. Nabla Corporation
kengou
I believe the answer is no, and very few modern planes allow this because at BVR ranges, this would make tracking of targets extremely difficult during maneuvers. Every small change in attitude would be a massive change to the radar cone at 50+ miles out. In fact I'm struggling to think of how this would ever be useful at those ranges. It's useful WVR, and that's why it is included in the special modes functions for ACM.
