Mapping X56 rotary key not possible?

I mapped a X56 rotary zone to a key and when I test it in the Logitech Software I see the key press repeating constantly as if I keep pressing the key on the keyboard (Looks like eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee etc.).

When I try to map it in DCS I go to the Keyboard column, select add and turn the Rotary into the zone but nothing happens.

Is there another way to map the rotaries to Input comands in DCS?

Don't let DCS fools you. Yes, in Controller Option page in DCS, DCS can't see what Logitech Software is doing. Map it manually in DCS.

 

You'll see, your rotary will work in game.
