For members....:book:

I can't imagine how bad the stall behavior was. :joystick:

I only respond to that little mechanical voice that says "Terrain! Terrain! Pull Up! Pull Up!"

the screen @ 5.06 makes me think of Fighter bomber (Amiga) . i wonder if B1 march mission over Lybia was the longest ever . i think WW2 missions over the pacific may have been long too , but i think there wasn't in flight refueling at that time .?

edit : no there wasn't as the raid over Tokyo didn't use some

A B-2 flew a 48-hour combat mission from Missouri to Iraq. Not sure what they did with all that extra time, since the flight to and from Iraq was probably only 26-30 hours (*only* haha) so 18+ hours of loitering? Not sure, haven't seen much info about it. Besides that, B-2s made several combat flights over A-stan from Missouri, which was in the area of 30 hours or so.

i think i interpreted wrongly . i think they made a 3 days trip outside the US but they landed somewhere in the Mediterranean because as i read again 3 days just seems a bit unreal

Two B-1Bs assigned to the 28th Bomb Wing left Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D., early March 27 to take part in the United Nations-backed no-fly zone over Libya. They returned three days later after hitting almost 100 targets in North Africa

Longuest combat mission in aviation history :

On 16–17 January 1991 seven B-52Gs from the Eighth Air Force, 2nd Bomb Wing, 596th Bomb Squadron, Barksdale AFB, LA. Flew the longest combat mission (35.4 hours) in aviation history, and the first Combat launch of conventional Air Launched Cruise Missile (CALCM) in Operation Desert Storm against Iraq. The official name of this mission was SENIOR Surprise, unofficially it was referred to as Secret Squirrel. wiki

Edit : longuest mission ever was operated by 6 B2 over Afghanistan on the 7 october 2001 during a 44 hours mission link
