WildBillKelsoe Posted October 4, 2019 Share Posted October 4, 2019 I spool up and takeoff following W1 obeying ATC for MSA until off their radar but now three times I try to follow W1 and always as soon as the last thing about water reflection is said, both N1/2 needles leave each other and I crash. I've took a video as it happened and I also got a master caution although the instruments showed all in the green. The track is too big (58mb) to attach here (5mb file limit) but this is the screen as it just happens before the powerplant fails. Not a single caution on the warning panel... AWAITING ED NEW DAMAGE MODEL IMPLEMENTATION FOR WW2 BIRDS Fat T is above, thin T is below. Long T is faster, Short T is slower. Open triangle is AWACS, closed triangle is your own sensors. Double dash is friendly, Single dash is enemy. Circle is friendly. Strobe is jammer. Strobe to dash is under 35 km. HDD is 7 times range key. Radar to 160 km, IRST to 10 km. Stay low, but never slow. However, I believe that something like this should be mentioned in the briefing for the mission. But thanks anyways. CHPL Posted April 30, 2021 Share Posted April 30, 2021 Most of the missions have problems since the update to 2.7. Internal Mission 1 to 3 are already fixed and may be part of the next update. Mission 4 AI behavior gives us sleepless nights, but it's fixed and send to ED today. So with the coming update, you shud be able to enjoy at least the first third of the campaign. Suppose new changes causing more trouble. The update to 2.7 is a big thing, and issues are expected, so please be patient.
