Harker
I'm trying to get a better feel for the avionics of our Hornet and I was wondering, among other things, about the IRL display specifications. I remember reading that the DDIs have 768x768 resolution, but I don't know if they run at 30Hz or 60Hz. A friend of mine got a FLIR camera for work and we were wondering, since we're relatively sure that the US-developed FLIR systems can output FLIR video at 60Hz, if the pilot can (could) take advantage of the framerate. I also don't know anything about the AMPCD's specs and if they made any difference. Appreciate any info The vCVW-17 is looking for Hornet and Tomcat pilots and RIOs. Join the vCVW-17 Discord.
