QuiGon
Just did some bombing with the MiG-21 after not having done this in quiet some time and I encountered a problem: There's a huge delay between pressing the bomb release button and the actual moment when the bombs come off. It seems like the launch delay from the A2A missiles has been carried over to the bombs, where such a delay shouldn't exist. This problem has been discussed for a while now on the german subforum and I refused to believe this all the time, because that wasn't the case some time ago. But now that I have actually did some bombing with the Fishbed again, I have to confirm this issue! Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing! corn322
Last time I did bombing I had no issues with bomb release. Nailed my targets from level bombing run. I was using FAB100 and 250's. But this was on the previous version of the game. Did something change in the last update?
razo+r
The problem is not the accuracy, but the delay between pressed button and release of the bombs.
corn322
I dunno. I just went a dropped some FAB-100's and they came off within 1/4 of a second as far as I could tell.
Frederf
Slow the game down to 1/64th time scale, look external camera, press release button, watch for initial separation. Divide the perceived delay by a factor of 64 to get real delay.
