Finally (I know, I know) getting them updated to new 2.5 (RoughMet/PBR) standard.

Corrected some errors I found in my templates.

Some new stuff to be released as well.

Also, a reminder: while not required, my custom F-86 cockpit textures can enhance these skins. Please download here,

The first one looks incredibly realistic .. its sad that you have had to redo the skins for 2.5 but the end result is so worth it .. congratulations on an amazing result :)

Well, let's not forget I was the one who decided to do waaaayyyyy more skins than I originally intended knowing full well the lighting/PBR stuff in DCS 1.5/2.0/etc wasn't up to scratch yet ;)

Another skin, again showing lighting at different angles in model viewer:

They look great Jocko , sounds like youve caught the bug again, and have mastered the RM. Looking forward to seeing your re-do's. As for model viewer, I tend to temper the "views" by going back into the game with all the setting as high as possible to get that final "look" right.

Maybe you don’t have FC3 .. it‘s a needed component for this kind of Mod.

No .. that Mods folder is for official aircrafts that you purchase for Dcs ... user created aircrafts go onto /saved games/dcs/mods/aircraft/

If the path doesn’t exist you can create Mods and aircraft manually, using windows file managrment.

*NEW*

Bunch of updates uploaded today, download links at bottom of first post.

A new one, Sabre Mk.5 23220 of No. 439 "Sabre-Toothed Tiger" Squadron, 1 (Fighter) Wing, Marville, France, circa 1955.

NATO camo finish with early style Tiger squadron art on tail. RCAF pilot has 439 Squadron shoulder patches and helmet art. 439 squadron had yellow helmets with red stripes running fore and aft, the number of stripes indicating pilot leadership responsibility in squadron - single stripe = pilot, two stripes = Flight Commander, three stripes = Squadron Leader.

Download link on first post.

And......

Canadair Sabre Mk.6 23220 of No. 422 "Tomahawk" Squadron, No. 4 (Fighter) Wing, RCAF Station Baden-Söllingen, West Germany, circa 1955.

The Mk.6 version of the Sabre introduced the Canadian-built, two stage Orenda 14 engine, rated to 7,275 lbs of thrust. The wing leading edge slats were eventually re-introduced while retaining portions of the 6-3 wing configuration. The Mk.6 therefore acquired a superb combination of engine and aerodynamics and was widely regarded as the best "dog-fighter" of its era.
