Again not working, and a funny difference. Now instead of black squares i got now spaces between the new textures.

 

Instead of black, now i can see the grass at the botton of the air strip. An the runway is only covered with the new textures in 1/6 of its length. The rest is the original one.

I installed Extreme version and it worked without problem. Btw I've downloaded temptextures files from rapidshare link.

 

This is precise my results on 8800GTX and 8800Ultra without any Problems. Will today upload the High-Pack and Extreme-Pack as Files for the Temptexture Folder so that this everything with problems can test.

You have install the Western-Style Runways! Please uninstall it before test.

Grandsurf do I need to download these files? Is there some update? because as you extreme version works for me.

 

You have install the Western-Style Runways! Please uninstall it before test.

 

I had this problem so Kaptein Damli delete those files from TempTextures folder and copy Grandsurf's files instead of them;

 

WORD2.tga, WPP-CZS.bmp, WPP-KRAY.bmp, WPP-RUL.bmp, WPP.bmp, WPP_DARK.bmp, WPP_PARK.tga, WPP_RUN-OUT.tga, WPP_RUN-OUT_3.tga.

Is one of them MID_GRANDSURF.cdds or MID_GRANDSURF.cdds are in the Bazar/World folder? and also try now to write only teh one you want into your config.

On that case it's the MID's textures that will appears but MID are already GOOD so you should try this.

Ok, I will try that when I got home from work! :) I think it´s good you released a beta so we can sort out errors and bugs due to installiations before the final release. It is not any fun to have this kind of problems with a final release. I am sure everyone will get this mod to work now as we have sorted some errors out! Keep up the good work Grandsurf and thank you again for releasing this beta. :thumbup:

hm.... I think this might be possible... if new objects can be added anywhere on map, then maybe new texture can be added to? and if so, one texture can be placed on top of the "joints" to make it look more natural curved and textures to allign?

I uninstalled western runways, and downloaded the new high file at post 1, and then installed it through Modman. It is getting better, but I feel I am missing something. I have Ground Pounder mod installed also now to just test it. Is it working with Ground pounder btw?

Here is a screen of what I see. I get some odd green colorborder around the runway. Feel I am missing some rubber too!
