"Long press" behavior to switch RWS/TWS is weird

"Long press" behavior to switch RWS/TWS is not behave same as "NWS weapon switch" or "HMCS on/off"

no matter how long you press it will not trigger "Long press" until you released the button.

it's weird, and caused some problems.

it should behave like other "Long press", trigger when specify time is elapsed.

Agree. Behavior is like system waits for button release, then counts the duration that happened, then does the action according to that duration.

The TMS time-based behavior should immediately enact the long-duration action at the moment that the press duration exceeds the threshold time even if the button remains pressed.

Agree as well here, and one quick thing to add. TMS Left has the same bug/issue. When needed to hold it to do an IFF along the cursor line it also waits until you release, where it should activate after a small delay like you guys are describing.

According to the bugs subforum: this is already reported to the team :)

What is the binding/behaviour for switching between TMS/RWS and JHMCS on/off, TMS Aft/Down?

TMS right long = switch between RWS and TWS. Bugged at the moment, in that it performs the actual SWITCH between those on releasing the TMS.

JHMCS doesn't have to do with TMS, but DMS: DMS aft long switches display on or off.
