[Question] Why can't I put a GBU-24 on station 4?

In the loadout editor, I can put a GBU-24 on station 5:

But on station 4, it's missing from the list:

Is that intentional?

Yes, that is intentional. The GBU-24 could only be carried on stations 3 and 5. This has simply to do with size and spacing and the arrangement of the airfoil group of the 24s, which would likely hit each other. Contrary to the GBU-10s, whose computer control group, airfoil group is smaller than the 24's, which is why the 10s are carried on stations 3 and 6 instead.

Cool, thanks for the info! Also, thanks for responding so quickly lately to questions. You guys are awesome when it comes to customer service.

When you say things like that, I immediately think of some still unanswered pms, and posts and whatnot, hehe, and feel like sinking into the ground... We're far from perfect, but we try to do what we can. :)

.

I assume you bet wrong!

Go and find another poor guy in your company for supporting the other poor guy, who is fighting alone on the Viggen front, finishing/fixing it for eventually leaving early access within this decade. :D

Please stop spreading this narrative, as it is wrong. The Viggen team is smaller, yes, but not one guy "fighting alone"... Ragnar is the main coder, yes, but neither does he fight alone, nor does the Viggen team consist only of him.

I might also add that naturally we are all Heatblur and support each other when needed, if the Viggen needs special attention at something other devs will chime in, just as Ragnar helped and chimed in with the Tomcat when needed. Yes the teams have separate tasks, but that doesn't mean that we are not one big team in the end who support each other.

Wilco!

Thanks, bud! And nothing for worries, either. Ragnar does do most of the work in coding, I do not want to deminish his great deeds, but others play important parts as well and do a lot of work on their ends and they deserve the same accolade (although ofc we do not do this for accolade). Hope that makes sense. :)

No big deal Sir, just a question of (obvious) weak perception on my side.

Let's carry on making HB aircraft better!
