EagleFox
Does anyone have any info for this, are we getting the TAS pod for Hornet? I saw PB mode crossed out in HARM page that indicates it can operate harms with TAS but haven't seen any mentions in hornet features of it. Harker
I don't think the USN actually adopted the TAS pod for operational use, but maybe someone else could confirm that. PB (Pre-Briefed) relies on having a designated target point (probably a pre-set waypoint and then hit WPDSG), so that the mission computer can supply range information to the HARM, so it can adjust its flight path. You don't need a TAS pod to use PB, AFAIK. The vCVW-17 is looking for Hornet and Tomcat pilots and RIOs. Join the vCVW-17 Discord. That's my understanding as well. Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
