LastRifleRound
I know it's not fully functional yet, but the imagery looks great. Below you can clearly see the 3 buildings on radar that are also in the WMD imagery. Unfortunately, designating anything in this mode leads to unpredictable results, often choosing a point on the ground hundred of feet away. If this is more or less the imagery we can expect, it looks to be pretty useful. Opens up a lot of offset attacks, bad weather no visibility strikes without IAMS, etc EXP doesn't seem to render properly. Again, not expecting it to, it is on the incomplete list. Can't wait to see this finished!
L0op8ack
It's a placeholder for future implemention, useless so far.
Harker
I wouldn't call it useless at all. We know it's not complete and it's not working as intended, but it's still fun. We never had something like this in DCS before, it's nice to explore even in its incomplete state. As far as designating in DBS mode, I found that despite you being zoomed in, the cursor will still move designate on the normal scale, so if you want to designate a nearby point in DBS, you have to move the cursor very little. That's a workaround for the WIP state, of course. The vCVW-17 is looking for Hornet and Tomcat pilots and RIOs. Join the vCVW-17 Discord. LastRifleRound
It's a placeholder for future implemention, useless so far. Are you saying it will look different, function different, or both? It's nice that it picks up non-map items (those buildings were placed in the ME). Makes it far, far more useful
L0op8ack
No big different, but the real DBS image is much static than what we have.
LastRifleRound
As long as it's still possible to resolve such objects, I think this is a game changer in terms of mission profiles. Excellent work!

Btw to all I know it's not working as intended. Just like playing around with the concepts.
