27th,Jan,2020 NOTICE

Thanks for everyone's support in this forums from the first day we announce the HOTAS.

Due to the recent national epidemic. The government has demanded that public holidays be extended to February 8. The original plan to ship 2nd batch preorder units on February 1 has changed and needs to be re-determined as the case may be. We are sorry for the delay. We will no longer implement the pre-order method. We plan to maintain a long-term stock after the impact of the epidemic, and we will ship the goods 72 hours after the order is placed.

Best for your all,

WINWING

*************************************************************

First batch preorder units all shipped. Some customers received their lovely HOTAS. Here are some photos shared from our Chinese customers. And overseas customers enjoy together!!!

Follow this thread and let me know what do you feel with our HOTAS, thank you!

I got mine yesterday and got the cockpit mount finished this morning.

Won’t be able to fly until tomorrow night due to family plans, but first impression is that it’s well put together and axis response seems smooth.

Question to Winwing or guys who have the throttle, when using the Radar Elevation control wheel (wheel on right throttle mount near the TDC), it works fine for adjusting the Radar elevation, but when using it for the Targeting pod zoom in and out, it keeps recentering (as the wheel is spring loaded to center). Has anyone found away around this, to keep the TGP to stay zoomed in when using the control on the throttle. Doesn't seem right to me.

You have to convert the axis response from absolute to relative. I do not know if the Winwing software provide this functionality yet (I don't have the Winwing Hotas). If not I advise to use Vjoy+Joystick Gremlin.

Very easy to setup in Gremlin. (no script).

Will there be a solution for the TGP zoom failure? The Vjoy doesn't work for me :helpsmilie::helpsmilie::helpsmilie:

Hello, I think I have found the solution, you have to put a little bit of dead zone to the Z axis, with that, the zoom of the TGP works perfectly, or at least it doesn't go to one of the extremes.

I hope it's useful

The way WINWING has the elevation wheel is correct per the real plane. Both zoom and radar axis are relative, so I don't get how you've got a problem?!

So... this thread has gone quiet again. For those that did not take the plunge...

Can anyone that has taken delivery of Winwing's HOTAS please share early impressions from their use of the equipment over Xmas? I am sure there are many that would be interested in user impressions.

Thank you.
