twistking
a smal grass airstrip on one of the channel islands would be a nice addition. alternatively allow us to place repair/refuel objects in the editor: a windsock and some marking tires should be enough to make a reserve airfield then... Lordzarj
As a Guernsey resident, absolutely, yes please! There are war time pictures of 109s at Guernsey airport and I guess Jersey was used too.
xvii-Dietrich
Guernsey, Jersey and Alderney all had airfields historically, but they were obstructed by the time of the invasion (and the Normandy map is set in about August 1944). Ref: https://www.ww2.dk/Airfields%20-%20France.pdf That said, I am all for having more options, so definitely yes to an airstrip there. After all, we can always obstruct them ourselves with mission editor items.
beagleRampant
It’s interesting how on Jersey and Guernsey (and _kinda_ on Alderney) there are “cleared” areas with no hedgerows where the real life airports are Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
