Thick8
Saw a couple of mentions here and there just a few minutes ago. Gonna go see if I can find some more info. Post here if you have any news. Thick8
Not much to go on it seems. No resolution or FOV specs. I did notice that there doesn’t seem to be an IPD adjustment wheel in the pics. That would suck for us big headed folk. Thick8
They issued a new patent in it, it has a curved OLED display which will use a reflected lens to give 180 degree FOV https://uploadvr.com/samsung-wide-fov-patent/ I remember reading that when it came out. It has 4 screens. 2 high res center screens with lower res side screens on the outside of the center ones. I would be happy with the same or slightly higher FOV at a higher DPI. Better distance spotting and clearer text. hansangb
FoV is certainly nice. But resolution is king. I found that out firsthand when I ditched the 5K+ for Reverb. hsb HW Spec in Spoiler --- i7-10700K Direct-To-Die/OC'ed to 5.1GHz, MSI Z490 MB, 32GB DDR4 3200MHz, EVGA 2080 Ti FTW3, NVMe+SSD, Win 10 x64 Pro, MFG, Warthog, TM MFDs, Komodo Huey set, Rverbe G1
