Tomas9970
Here's a source stating that it's going to be complex: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=4200775&postcount=237 I also decided to put the "not single pilot friendly" back into the main list because there are aircrafts like that in game or in development. My new best candidate in this is the F-117 because it's notorious for being very hard to fly. Making it's flight model would be a huge milestone as well as modeling it's stealthiness. Gierasimov
No, How can it be the F117. Didn't they say it was multi crew? I never seen them mentioning it was multi crew, frankly I hope it is not, unless with single player attitude (solid AI RIO/WSO). Gierasimov
Exactly right In my mind A-4 Skyhawk, English Electric Lightning and F-104 Starfighter are old, too. Yeah, there is enough old aircraft already. I dream of red jet, but if it is blue rotary I hope SH-60 before AH-64. Tomas9970
Original designs of the F-104 and A-4 are old but these planes were upgraded and retired remotely recently (Let's say after 1990 is considered relatively modern). I agree that the Lightning needs to go from the list.
Tomas9970
How can it be the F117. Didn't they say it was multi crew? I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere but their history shows the opposite. That's why I ruled out aircrafts that absolutely need multi crew to operate. Harlikwin
Given the recent discussions around projects pipeline and roadmap for current modules, I now feel that the 'secret project', is still not decided upon in terms of what it will be, and that, coupled with when it would be possibly started makes the announcement wait less exciting now. Best sekrit project surprise would be finish existing modules really. New hotness: I7 9700k 4.8ghz, 32gb ddr4, 2080ti, :joystick: TM Warthog. MiG21bisFishbedL
If the two 5th Genners and the two 4th gen Eurocanards are out, how come the -117 is in, still? It's a fly-by-wire aircraft, too. And, it wasn't at all difficult to fly as per its pilots. https://www.af.mil/News/Article-Display/Article/1499939/remembering-the-f-117-nighthawk/ “I think we all recognized that this was something historic,” he said. “We retired an airplane that people still reference today. We really understood that so it was a sentimental flight to say the least. It was a great weapon system, very stable and easy to fly. It’s still a memorable experience.” After all, it's a FBW aircraft. The claims of its difficulty of handling probably come out of certain pieces of media that failed to differ between the F-117A and the Have Blue. Reformers hate him!
