OnionSpider13 Posted February 16, 2020 Share Posted February 16, 2020 I had the same issue. Turns out my antivirus thinks DCS.exe is a virus and is automatically deleting it out of the bin folder. I have to restore the file and disable the file scanner before trying to boot DCS. Adding it to the list of exceptions doesn't seem to fix the issue. I just had to remember to switch on the virus protection when I finished. I couldn't whitelist the file... ruddy122 Posted February 16, 2020 Share Posted February 16, 2020 I had the same problem. Apparently McAfee Live Safe thinks DCS.exe is a Virus and tries to Quarantine it. TheNorthernFox Posted February 19, 2020 Share Posted February 19, 2020 (edited) If you add the DCS.exe found in the bin folder to the excluded files for Real-Time Scanning, you should be able to start DCS 2.5.6 perfectly fine.
