Screen Space Local Reflections. It's a technique for rendering real time reflections. It's not really observable in cockpits most of the time. I think one of the easiest ways to see it is in the new Ka-50 cockpit, if you look back, the white rotor housing reflects off of the black metal of the cockpit.

In any event, it eats up a lot of FPS.

I see this since the initial release of the Viper: setting the console flood light knob to a position other than 0 brings up an immediate stutter. It's very obvious when looking at the moving landscape at a 90° angle. The rock solid 40 fps (Rifs S) before turning the knob is now fluctuating from 33 to 40 fps.

Hi

I am also feeling a slight frame drop (5 to 10FPS) and stutter when turning the flood lights. It's noticeable even without the FPS counter.

I don't use VR, btw and I deleted FXO/Metashaders2 after the update.

More than any other thing that pertains to the body it partakes of the nature of the divine." — Plato, Phaedrus.
