DW2020
Shame DCS doesnt have trials of the various aircraft modules so U could try one for say 7 days and decide on which one you want before laying out the cash for it...

Nodak
They do exactly that on occasion over a weekend, but it will be one select module.

draconus
So far it only happened for F/A-18C in 2018 and F-14B in 2019. For trial you have 2 free aircraft. Beirut
I think it has some benefit. I never would have bought the F-14 pre-trial, now at least I'm considering it. Some of the planes, but all of the maps!
DW2020
I think its going to be either the F16 or F18 for me next and am now just trying to decide which. 90% of my missions are Air to Air with just a small amount of Air to Ground.

mrmat01
lmao why would i buy if i could just keep making accounts and cycle trials It would be IP address based so you couldn't take the piss
mrmat01
I think a try before you buy would be great. Say 4-7 days. Single player only & limited weapon types & limited clickable buttons just the essentials. Just enough to know if the aircraft is reight for you. Just my opinion.:)
BlackLightning
It would be IP address based so you couldn't take the piss  AFAIK in most houses there are dynamic IP addresses; mine is dynamic and changes from time to time. I’ve never tried but I think you can change it if you have a VPN or maybe even without it. It would still be better than using only the account as an identifier, though. Another possibility could be to limit the usable time of each session to something like 10 minutes until the user buys the module. pszuch
It took me a week to learn how to cold start the F-18C, so I am not sure I would gain much insight from a one weekend (or week) trial Lol.
