unltd
So what combo do you need to hit to win in the F-18? I scored 3x f-18s but no joy, wtf???? I thought the chairman in the radar picture was pretty good but this tops that by far. Definitely put my heart rate up when I realized the gear hadn't gone down lol. (PS did get the gear to go down with the emergency release). I love it that you guys still have a sense of humor during all that's going on, and definitely lifted my spirits today! Thanks ED, nice April fools! wait JACKPOT....ejection! GunSlingerAUS
This update greatly improved performance. I don't use VR. Interesting, I'm finding it the same as before, but now there seems to be a micro-stutter every 20 seconds or so that was not happening before today's patch. wilbur81
This update greatly improved performance. I don't use VR. There is no "greatly improved" performance for me (though I did have one saved mission that performed a little better than in the previous 2.5.6 patches). I play in 4K, non-VR. Reflected
that had been working for a while now. red someone suggested after hooking to hold the kneel(forgot the term) button for 5 seconds, power up, salute and it'll launch. Player launch is fixed, no need for workarounds. But the AI still can't take off. :( https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=268222 Facebook Instagram YouTube Discord

Eldur
The Jeff: Improved engine response Was already much better than the Hornet's which still can't spool in just under 4 seconds. Instead, that one still very much is in competition with the Me-262... Adjust 3-pos SW direction: (left-click: down/bwd; right-click: up/fwd) THX * e^lots! Was misclicking every time and couldn't adapt to it being reverse standard. Caused quite some issues at times. DCS Known Issues: Selection of audio devices disabled while in simulation. Now that's cheeky since those literally kept reverting to default all the time... Being able to switch that while in the sim was a True Grit (pun intended). DCS World: Adjusted radio for Al Dhafra. Finally back to 126800? Never got why it went 126500 one day and I kept entering the old frequency, constantly wondering why they wouldn't respond until I, again and again, noticed that there was an undocumented change ---------------------------------------------------------------- Now hoping for a performance fix since there's no word in the log... Well, I AM blind... ("Performance review ongoing.") having no problems waiting though, City 17 still has more than enough headcrabs to shoot at ---------------------------------------------------------------- Brrrt! like a laser beam now! You actually have to aim at the target...lol...going to be a lot of griping about that. I like it! That's going to be great... now just bring it for the M61 as well... ideally with a switch for those who want to keep their clamp to the thing. I understand it is actually better for air to air that way. But I'm flying a F/A-18C... until then I keep going at Sierra Hotel distances until pulling the trigger, not having any problems with that personally. Some numbers would be more useful than opinion. Well, sitting at Senaki in my testing mission I had 110+ fps already in the last version while I had just under 60 in 255 with much less vis rng (! - switched from high to the max setting in the late 255s, and just for the record, I started out with just 30-32fps when getting the Rift exactly a year ago where I still had the vis rng to medium, same time it was 42-45fps in pancacke mode), all in pancake mode. OTOH in VR it went from 42 down to 18-22 and never went up even a bit.

ED Team BIGNEWY Posted April 3, 2020 Author ED Team Share Posted April 3, 2020 So that a few users reporting better fps has nothing to do with performance fixes in the new patch? Some have reported improvement and some changes we made, but most have not, especially VR users. We are seeing the same in our tests, once we see improvement we can think about the stable update. thanks Forum rules - DCS Crashing? Fang333333
So that a few users reporting better fps has nothing to do with performance fixes in the new patch? If you would like more details about why there is no stable just look at the bugs/performance section. For all those waiting for stable patch... LOOK AT THE BUGS/PERFORMANCE PAGE! Stop looking at one thread and assuming there are improvements! There are game breaking issues that YOU DONT WANT FOR STABLE. Please...For the love of all thats holy, BEFORE asking about a STABLE UPDATE, actually LOOK to see if people are REALLY REPORTING improvements. Also, please push back Supercarrier if no performance fixes have been made. Its not fair for us who have really invested in this sim to not have the early release they were promised.
