Northstar98
Ohh boy.. here we go... FPS complaints inbount! Personally, I'm impressed - not seeing much of a loss, and look at my specs! Plus my settings are probably a little higher than I really should. Only thing I have noticed is that FPS on SC leaves a little to be desired, but I can't really say much given my specs. EDIT: In a very basic free flight mission, in the Hornet, over water, I'm even getting better FPS than the previous 2.5.5 stable! :surprise: Edited May 29, 2020 by Northstar98 Modules I own: F-14A/B, Mi-24P, AV-8B N/A, AJS 37, F-5E-3, MiG-21bis, F-16CM, F/A-18C, Supercarrier, Mi-8MTV2, UH-1H, Mirage 2000C, FC3, MiG-15bis, Ka-50, A-10C (+ A-10C II), P-47D, P-51D, C-101, Yak-52, WWII Assets, CA, NS430, Hawk. Thump
Hey Ankle, as we have suggested in the past many times now, it's about game stability (not crashing) and not as much about bugs ie "Stable". Thanks. How is it a suggestion? It either is the intent of the company or it is not. It's not for the customer to interpret how the release feels it is. Thanks. Tom Kazansky
the new stable installation needs 75GB free space on the partition. Is there a way to use a temp folder on another drive for installation files? Or can I install it somewhere else and move it back after it is done? Or can I install it somewhere else and move it back after it is done? You can configure the DCS updater to temporary download the files to a different place before installing them. To achieve that take the attached file and put it in your DCS installation folder. Then open it and change the path to wherever you want it to temporary download the files to when updating.autoupdate_settings.cfg Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
